Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee

The Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee (JEDI) will propose recommendations for (environmental) justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in biodiversity genomics including the following: define metrics and a timeline for JEDI action implementation; delineate and quantify measures to eliminate barriers to full participation by all who wish to contribute to the EBP vision; and estimate the resources required to carry out JEDI actions on a global scale and advocate implementation pipelines to empower actions on local scales. In its advisory role, the JEDI Committee will then deliver these recommendations to the EBP Executive Committee and global network of participating communities.
