  • Access to state-of-the-art methods and advice for scaling of reference quality sample collection and processing, whole genome sequencing and assembly, genome annotation, data analysis, and informatics.

  • Access to updated information on the progress of all EBP-affiliated projects.

  • Representation on the EBP Membership Council

  • Membership in an organization that provides a single voice advocating all projects and that emphasizes the importance of biodiversity genomics to the entire world.

  • Support for data analytics and tools.

  • Reducing overlap of species selected for sequencing among other EBP-affiliated projects.

  • Assist projects to develop strategies for compliance with the Nagoya Protocols and Access and Benefit sharing, particularly with Indigenous Peoples and local communities.

  • Assist with organization of the annual EBP Biodiversity Genomics conference (e.g., creating scientific sessions and workshops, selecting speakers).
